Protégé Publishing and Promotions will produce an ‘uncorrected proof’, or bound galley proof, which will be sent out as Advanced Reading Copy before publication. Galley proofs are usually used in the editing and proof-reading process. Galley proofs are usually bound in plain paper covers and without illustrations. Galley proofs are generally printed in black and white and are significantly larger than their market book counterparts. The term ‘uncorrected proof‘ will appear on the cover.
